We purchased these for our kid. Light, comfortable, but they get very dirty so quickly! I have to wash them almost every day. Also, because of their fabric on top, lots of sand get inside the shoes, even through socks and all toes are covered with sand. Obviously, these shoes are for indoors running only, but not for everyday wear outside. Other than that, they are cute.

Bought the Surge style after using the Assert style for many years but frustrated because its velcro strap is too short. The Surge velcro strap is plenty long enough, yay! But the sole wears out faster than the Assert. Surge is also softer/more cushioned than Assert. I’ll be sticking with Surge from now on.
